MM supports 150th anniversary celebrations
Leading farming, food and finance cooperative ANM Group holds a special place in Scotland’s rural economy and community, as the team here at Message Matters knows.
We have worked closely with the business in recent years – and we are delighted to be supporting Chief Executive Grant Rogerson and his colleagues as they celebrate its 150th anniversary.
The #ANMbeyond150 initiative is placing real focus on the success and importance of ANM Group, operators of the Thainstone Livestock Centre at Inverurie, including Aberdeen and Northern Marts.
And it was fantastic to see great interest at the cooperative’s latest anniversary event as the future of farming was discussed at the ANM Beyond 150 Conference, which we worked with them to organise and promote.
Chaired by Farm North East editor Eddie Gillanders, the strong panel of speakers were George Burgess, Director of Agriculture and Rural Economy at the Scottish Government; livestock sustainability expert Professor Jude Capper of Harper Adams University; Steven Thomson, Senior Agricultural Economist, Rural Economy, Environment and Society at SRUC and former NFU Scotland president Jim Walker.
There was insightful discussion, with journalists from The Scottish Farmer and the Press & Journal covering the event.
