MM supports League Against Cruel Sports to pass the Hunting with Dogs (Scotland) Act 2023
When you work in public affairs, achieving legislation for a client is the ultimate goal. Doing this however is surprisingly rare, so when it does happen, it’s a major achievement, and usually the result of many years of work.
This week, after over five years working with our client the League Against Cruel Sports, we were thrilled to sit next to them in the public gallery of the Scottish Parliament as MSPs voted to pass the Hunting with Dogs (Scotland) Act 2023. After almost seven hours of debating, the legislation was passed with 90 votes to 30.
We have worked with the League on all aspects of this campaign from media, public affairs, strategy and Government relations to branding, creative stunts and film making. A lot has gone into ensuring this Bill was introduced and passed.
It’s been a lot of fun, and we’ve spent a lot of time with a giant fox!
