A good campaign has to be holistic – it must be devised from the seed of an idea, crafted and then implemented through all available channels. At MM, clients get all of that under one roof. One example is … Clean Up Scotland.

Clean Up Scotland is a mass engagement anti-litter campaign that is working to make Scotland the cleanest country in Europe, led by the independent charity, Keep Scotland Beautiful. It is assembling a national coalition for action to challenge our individual relationships with litter, lead community clean-up activities and change long-term behaviour by making dropping litter as socially unacceptable tomorrow as drink driving is today.

Message Matters was involved at the outset, assisting with the choice of name and branding and executing the lobbying which resulted in government funding being granted. From there, we managed marketing, web, political relations, coalition building and media relations. The result? Almost 1,000 print media articles, 500,000 litter picks and 5,000 tonnes of litter collected in 2 years. And a great example of how our process and our ethos delivers results for clients.

What they say about us
Derek Robertson, KSB’s CEO, says: “Message Matters have been an indispensable part of our transformation. They have led the creation of a new message and have been unbelievably successful in finding a wide range of ways to convey that new message to both the public and our key target audiences.”
